- In breathing apparatus for workforce doing underwater work, refinery, and chemical plant.
- In aquaculture for cultivation of fish
Nitrous Oxide is used:
- In anesthesia as a medical anesthetic and analgesic.
- In food industry as a mixing and foaming agent to produce whipped cream
